I am the Architect of my own reality.
Most people try to hide their scars. I’ve built my world on top of them.
My life hasn’t been a linear progression; it’s been a series of total demolitions and subsequent rebuilds. From the early spark of performance and music from where I grew up in Wales to the crushing, transformative weight of motherhood and profound loss, my journey has been one of constant transmutation: turning pain into art and trauma into knowledge.
The Foundation.
My creative pulse—the obsession with the English language, the rhythm of words, the theatricality of life—was born long before I knew how to write it down. But the true foundation of my work was laid in the hardest of trenches.
My son, Alex, was my first teacher. His life, his profound disability, and his beautiful, enduring spirit taught me that love transcends the physical. When I lost him, I didn’t just lose a child; I lost my reason for being. But in the void of that grief, I found my voice. I took the rough drafts of my youth and turned them into the A Broken Paradise Series. I realised that my writing wasn’t just a passion—it was a lifeline.
The Rebuild
When my daughter, Seren—my “lucky star”—entered the world, she didn’t just bring joy; she brought a mandate to keep building. She witnessed her mother’s evolution from a grieving soul into a resilient creator.
But life demanded another test. I spent years in the shadow of a man who tried to dismantle my confidence and silence my voice through domestic abuse. It was a dark, confusing chapter—but it was also the final lesson. I learned that the people who try to break you are only the catalysts for your final transformation. I walked out of that shadow not as a victim, but as a survivor. I claimed my freedom in the courts, in the eyes of the law, and in the mirror.
The Architect Today
I am unapologetically “me.”
I don’t just write; I study the human condition. My toolkit includes degrees in Psychology, a foundation in Life Coaching, and an ongoing pursuit of Law—because I don’t just want to understand the world, I want to master its mechanics.
I am an author, a scholar, a survivor, and a mother. I am the voice that remained when the noise faded. I am currently deep in the world of the A Broken Paradise, continuing to build, continue to grow, and continuing to prove that no matter how much of your paradise is broken, you have the hands to fix it.
I am the Architect. And I’m just getting started.
