Happy Easter, everyone!

I hope your long weekend is filled with a bit of peace, a lot of chocolate, and hopefully a break from the “Digital Fishbowl.” Things are a bit loud and lively at my end—the kids are off school, and the house is buzzing with that holiday energy.

We have a massive milestone coming up in just a few days, too. My rising Star, Seren, is celebrating her birthday! She’s officially stepping out of her “Child Era”—that strange, beautiful liminal space where you aren’t quite a kid anymore, but the teen years haven’t fully claimed you yet. Watching her grow reminds me of how life forces us to level up our “software” before the world is even ready for us. Girls always seem to grow up faster, don’t they?

A Broken Paradise: Progress Report

In between the Easter eggs and the birthday planning, I’ve been deep in the “Grafting” process for Book 2, Breathe.

I’m currently navigating the Kansas Arrival. Awen, Shawna, and the crew have officially hit the Somerset apartment. The air is heavy, the secrets are starting to leak, and the 3, 6, 9 frequency is vibrating at a low, dangerous hum.

The Status:

  • The Journey: We are closing in on the Oklahoma state line.
  • The Fever: Awen’s transformation is reaching a “Metamorphic Shock” point.
  • The Horizon: Book 2 is nearing its finale, and the Texas Anvil is waiting for us in Book 3.

Thank you for staying tuned into the static with me. I’m pushing through a bit of a “human decay” moment myself (a stubborn tooth infection—thank goodness for clove oil!), but the mission continues.

The water is already over the top, and the Dam is breaking.

I will keep checking in the best I can this week, but I hope you all enjoy your holidays, and I will catch you soon!
