Yesterday, I told you to start. I told you to do it tired, do it sick, and do it broke.
Today, I’m telling you to keep starting! And keep going!
The biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we need to “feel” motivated to get things done. We wait for the right mood, the perfect setting, or a stroke of divine inspiration. That’s not a strategy; that’s procrastination in a weird Panem-looking fancy dress on fashion week.
Momentum isn’t a lightning bolt that strikes you; it’s a friction-based choice you make when you don’t feel like it. It’s the decision to open the laptop, or pick up the pen, and just move, even if you’re only moving an inch.
I’m deep in the trenches of Breathe right now—Chapter 6 is done, Chapter 7 is staring me down—and let me tell you: discipline beats motivation every single time.
Stop waiting for the “right time” to appear. Build the habit. Own the process. If you want to change your reality, you have to be the one to apply the force.
Consistency, not intensity.
Are you waiting for permission, or are you ready to start?
Here it is.
Get on it!
You’ve got this! <3
