After the Surge: Coffee, Roadmaps, and Resilience.
The last few days, I have been in ‘Boss Mode,’ so today is ‘Architect Mode.’
After smashing through a 2,678-word milestone yesterday and forging the official A Broken Paradise sigil, the Alchemist in me is still humming, even if my sleep schedule hasn’t quite caught up to me yet.
Today is about the Roadmap. While I’m handling the mundane static of daily life—housework, decluttering, and the hum of the hoover—my mind is already out in the Echo. I’m currently plotting the bridge into Chapters 11 and 12.
The flare gun email was sent by Paul. Now, the threads are beginning to vibrate. The most exciting part of today’s planning? When 3 Becomes 6. New faces are arriving in the Loom, ready to take their place within the Alliance. These fellows are joining Cualli, Awen, and Sheriton on their journey to Kansas. The Alliance is growing, but in a world where the ‘Mirage’ is hungry, every new connection is a risk, especially since the Resistance is hot on their tail.
I’m taking it a bit slower today to make sure every thread in this roadmap is pulled tight. The progress is consistent, the vision is clear, and the Broken Paradise is expanding.
Current Word Count: 2,678, as I did a little more after my post last night.
Today’s Mission: Mapping the path for the Six.
