When the Threads snap!
I started this morning in a bit of a fog, clutching a cup of hot Lemon, Ginger & Honey tea. But then suddenly, in the lab, everything came to life!
Another milestone for the morning session, and I’m about to start the afternoon after my tea and toast!
I’ve just smashed through the morning, bringing it to 2,025 words. We are deep into 2011, with Paul hitting ‘Send‘ on one of the most crucial emails he had ever sent.

The moment of agonising silence, waiting for a reply.
While my characters wait for a response, Yolotli and Arielia already see the truth behind it all. The ‘Mirage’ is hungry; it’s actively reaching out and snapping the threads of connection before they can gather.
The weave is under attack!
The question isn’t just if they will reply. It’s whether they can.
